Abstract
During the former Soviet era, exile was one of the specific methods of violating human rights. During the repressions, many innocent
people, politicians, scientists, and cultural figures were exiled to cold countries under the label of ”enemy of the people.” This article
examines the impact of the exile policy on the fate of people in the work of the writer Asqad Mukhtar. The topic is revealed on the example
of the writer’s stories ”Taqdir kimning qo‘lida” and ”Omon qolgan odam”.
