Abstract
Language learning is not an isolated cognitive task; it is deeply embedded in the cultural contexts from which languages emerge. This
paper explores the influence of culture on language learning, highlighting how cultural knowledge, values, communication styles, and
identity interplay with second language acquisition. Through a synthesis of relevant literature and qualitative insights from classroom
experiences and learner reflections, this study demonstrates that cultural awareness enhances linguistic competence, fosters intercul-
tural communication, and facilitates more meaningful engagement with the target language. The paper underscores the importance of
integrating cultural elements into language instruction and provides practical recommendations for educators.
