Abstract
article discusses the pedagogical role of authentic materials in foreign language teaching and their impact on developing linguistic, communicative, and intercultural competence. It highlights how newspapers, podcasts, films, and social media content enhance vocabulary, comprehension, pragmatic skills, motivation, and cultural awareness. The study also addresses challenges such as linguistic complexity and emphasizes the importance of scaffolding and careful integration of authentic resources to support effective language learning
