Abstract
This article reveals that these days and ages demands high school students acquire not only English language proficiency but also professional competencies that enable them to lead complex social, academic, and workplace contexts. The 4C framework - Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity - represents a holistic approach to cultivate professional skills. This paper explores how integrating the 4C framework into high school English curricula can develop students’ professional competence while aligning with international social development standards. It incorporates literature review including theoretical foundations, best practices, and pedagogical strategies for 4C integration, as well as, expected outcomes, potential challenges, and implications for teachers and policymakers. It also discusses 4C-aligned English instruction can transform traditional classrooms into dynamic, student-centered environments that foster professional readiness, social responsibility, and lifelong learning skills.
