Abstract
This study explores the historical development and formation processes of thematic dictionaries in English
and Uzbek. It highlights the evolution of lexicographical traditions, the role of cultural and linguistic needs in
shaping thematic dictionaries, and the comparative analysis of both languages. The research demonstrates
how thematic dictionaries contribute to language learning, knowledge organization, and the preservation of
specialized vocabulary.
